Talk about talent.It's hard to believe the same actress portrays not only the snooty,egotistical Sharpay Evans in High School Musical AND the sweet, well-meaning candy clerk at The Tipton,Maddie,on The Suite Life Of Zack And Cody.Yet that's just how gifted Ashley Tisdale is-she can play the villain, and she can play the sweet heroine too.Born in Monmouth,New Jersey,Ashley was discovered at the ripe old age of three by a talent manager who is still her manager today.She scored a job off her very first audition and went on to appear in over 100 comercials before portraying the leading role in the broadway musical Les Miserables and starring in a touring company production of Annie.Once she made the move to television,she made many guest-star and recurring appearances on shows,including George Lopez,Still Standing,The Hughleys and Grounded for life.After that came The Suite Life Of Zack And Cody and then the smash hit High School Musical.Ashley's hobbies include singing-she sang at the White House when she was just tweleve years old-along with hanging out and shopping.Not all at the same time,though.She Lives in Los Angeles with her parents and her sister,who is also an actress.
